Roseburg’s rain-soaked March highlights weather year

The wettest March day ever recorded in Roseburg highlighted a year in which weather records were broken frequently A total of 2.29 inches of rain fell at the Roseburg Regional Airport on March 21, smashing the single-day rainfall record for March of 1.58 inches set on March 18, 1938. The one-day deluge was the highlight of a record-breaking month. The March total of 9.9 inches easily broke the old record of 7.78 inches set in 1938.
