Winston man suspected of throwing fatal punch pleads not guilty

A Winston man accused of fatally punching another man in the parking lot of the Douglas Inn in Roseburg last year pleaded not guilty Monday to second-degree manslaughter. Michael Keith Oglesby, 37, was indicted this month in the Feb. 5 death of Jonathan Scott King, 31, who police say was hit in the face by Oglesby, causing King to fall and hit his head on the ground. He died two hours later at a hospital. Douglas County Circuit Judge George Ambrosini set a three-day trial for May. Oglesby is being held in the Douglas County Jail in lieu of $50,000 …
