Federal disaster funds will pay for the majority of repairs along the curves on Eagle Valley Road between Drain and Yoncalla, Douglas County Public Works Director Robb Paul told commissioners Wednesday. The slide on the south side of the road just outside the Drain city limits occurred last January. The storm that caused it was severe enough that the repairs qualified for federal disaster relief funds.
