Workmans mark golden anniversary John A. and Colleen K. Workman celebrated their 50th anniversary with a family gathering and dinner at the Rodeo Steakhouse in Roseburg. The event was hosted by their children. A native Oregonian from Roseburg, John joined the Army in 1960. He met Colleen LeHew on a blind date in Olympia, Wash., while he was stationed at Fort Lewis. The pair were married Dec. 24, 1962, in Roseburg before he was reassigned to Berlin, Germany. She remained in Olympia until he was discharged in 1963 and they moved to Douglas County.
