With the Douglas County median age rising as baby boomers move toward their so-called Golden Years, it’s good to see some serious efforts to address their health care needs. Such is the case with the recent announcement that Mercy Medical Center and DCIPA, The Physicians of Douglas County, have formed a joint company called Architrave. In addition to helping improve patient care through efficiencies and better communication, the joint venture is also designed to help recruit doctors.
