Seven members of Karla Schiermeister’s family abandoned their television sets and video games Saturday and spent the morning scouring the Roseburg area for treasure. They were playing the city’s third annual geocaching game. Geocachers are given coordinates to specific locations, which they plug in to GPS devices, and then asked questions they can only answer by observing something at each site.
