The prospect of a health care college in Roseburg was well received Monday by the City Council, but councilors agreed they want time to think about investing $30,000 in a study. Mercy Medical Center CEO Kelly Morgan asked the city to chip in for a $400,000 study on whether a school would succeed, what it would teach and where it would be located. The council asked for information about the study’s budget and decided by consensus to revisit the issue at its Feb. 11 meeting.
