SUTHERLIN — Three weeks after his parents were arrested by officers who were looking for him, Mitchell Dewayne Wells Jr. was apprehended while trying to run from an officer during a traffic stop, Sutherlin police said. Police say Wells Jr. is suspected of several thefts in the Northwest Pine Street area, near the home he shares with his parents, Tina Ann Wells and Mitchell Dewayne Wells Sr. The parents were arrested Jan. 5 when officers from five agencies reported finding drugs and stolen property during a search of their house in the 300 block of Northwest Pine Street.
