Roseburg police dog smells pot; two men arrested in Myrtle Creek

Two Washington men were arrested Wednesday on Interstate 5 at Myrtle Creek after police say 14 pounds of marijuana were discovered in their car. Kyle Frandsen French, 23, of Bellevue and Austin Joseph Glenn, 21, of Gig Harbor were stopped at Milepost 108 for an equipment violation. Glenn was driving a 2005 Subaru Outback north. The officer called Roseburg police to bring drug-sniffing dog Dora to assist with a search of the vehicle, Myrtle Creek Police Chief Don Brown said. The men were arrested on suspicion of possession of marijuana and distribution of marijuana and taken to the Douglas County …
