YONCALLA Students help cancer patients Yoncalla High School students from a community service class delivered handmade lap blankets and bags filled with various gifts aimed at giving comfort to cancer patients at Roseburg Medical Center’s Oncology and Hematology Center and the Community Cancer Center. The students made the lap blankets as one of the projects in the community service class. Students Karen Wickman and Brianne Joslyn got the idea to fill “chemo bags” for patients who are undergoing chemotherapy at a leadership conference in Seaside.
