A 30-year-old transient was arrested Tuesday on suspicion of threatening with a knife two employees who woke him up at the closed Swanson stud mill, according to the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office. The two men had gone to the mill in the 1500 block of Glide Loop Drive to assess its condition when they discovered broken windows in one building and property missing, including a computer. In another building, they found more broken windows and Michael Thomas Matthews, 30, sleeping in an office with a heater and a microwave nearby, deputies said.
