An 18-year-old store clerk was arrested Wednesday on suspicion of stealing a camera and money before returning a lost purse to the owner, Roseburg police said. Police suspect Laura Lee Gates of Roseburg of taking a $300 digital camera and $5 in cash out of a purse that a customer left on a counter at a store in the 4400 block of Northeast Stephens Street.
