A Canyonville man was arrested Thursday after Douglas County sheriff’s deputies searched his home and reported finding pipe bombs, a marijuana plant and stolen property. Deputies investigating a burglary executed the search warrant in the 300 block of Moonlight Lane and arrested the resident, Jerry Lee Hawkins, 47. Deputies say they found two stolen vehicles and parts from a third, several license plates from other stolen cars, a drift boat with all identifying numbers removed, the marijuana plant and drug paraphernalia.
