Perspective on govt. and guns Lane County frees convicted criminals, claiming it can’t afford to keep them in jail. One convict robbed a bank within hours of being released. Crime has predictably increased. The message from Lane County is clear. Give money or more criminals will be freed. Gangs are famous for extortion rackets, but pale by comparison.
