Roseburg gun show draws large crowd

A crowd estimated at more than 1,000 people lined up at the Douglas County Fairgrounds on Saturday morning waiting for the Roseburg Gun and Knife Show to open. “Everyone wants to get guns right now,” said Nick Darland, who was at the show to run background checks for Associated Buyers of Roseburg. Organizers say they expect 3,000 people will walk through the doors of Douglas Hall by the time this weekend’s show is over, compared with 2,400 who attended the last show organized by the Roseburg Rod & Gun Club in September.
