The managers of Sutherlin’s Umpqua Golf Resort may soon be running the Stewart Park Golf Course in Roseburg. The Roseburg Parks Commission voted unanimously Wednesday to recommend the city contract with L&H Lumber, owners of the Umpqua Golf Resort, to run the city owned course. The City Council will make a final decision Feb. 25 and the course is expected to be under new management by April 1.
