Construction of a 55-unit housing complex on the Roseburg Veterans Affairs Medical Center campus is on schedule to be completed by the end of the year, project organizers said today. The buildings, dubbed Eagle Landing, are among the first housing developments in the VA’s nationwide campaign to end homelessness among veterans. Eagle Landing is a joint effort between the VA and two Douglas County nonprofit organizations, NeighborWorks Umpqua and United Community Action Network.
