College Baseball: Beavers, Ducks off to 4-0 starts

PALM SPRINGS, Calif. — Joey Matthews doubled home the winning run with one out in the 11th inning Monday to send the No. 6 Oregon State baseball team to a 5-4 win over UC Riverside at Palm Springs Stadium. The win pushed Oregon State to 4-0 for the first time since the 2007 club started the season 7-0. Kavin Keyes singled to open the inning and moved to second when Dylan Davis laid down a sacrifice bunt. Jerad Casper was then intentionally walked and Zane Yanzick pinch-ran for Keyes at second.
