MYRTLE CREEK — Threats posted by a former student on Facebook triggered the Wednesday morning lockdown of 1,400 South Umpqua School District students, officials said. The lockdown was lifted after police arrested Wesley William Snyder, aka Miller, 22, at about 10:30 a.m. after a brief scuffle at his Tri City home in the 300 block of South Pacific Highway. He was booked into the Douglas County Jail on suspicion on four counts of disorderly conduct, resisting arrest and manufacturing and possessing marijuana.
