Douglas County commissioners on Wednesday approved a 4.5 percent raise for union members of the Sheriff’s Department. Deputies, dispatchers and records clerks will receive a 2.5 percent raise retroactive to July 1, 2012, and another 2 percent increase beginning July 1.
