Most Wednesdays, Friends of the Library co-founder Jackie Sutton can be found in a back room of the Douglas County Library, half hidden among stacks of old books, sorting them for sale and stopping now and then to read a children’s story just for fun. “This is my happy place,” Sutton said. “It’s fun and interesting. I never know what I’m going to find.” Over the years Sutton has read favorite stories such as “How I Met Your Mother” to preschoolers, delivered hand-picked novels to homebound seniors and sorted more books than she could ever count.
