State Wrestling: Van Anrooys head first-round winners for Roseburg

PORTLAND — Senior Reed Van Anrooy, a defending state champion, got off to a good start for Roseburg today in the Class 6A state wrestling tournament at Veterans Memorial Coliseum. Van Anrooy pinned his first-round opponent, Jacob Taylor of West Linn, in 1:10. Other early winners for the Indians were Toby Dill at 113 (pin), Chad Jones at 120 (pin), Cole Van Anrooy (pin) and Peyton Mesa at 126 (decision), Brody Faas at 138 (decision), Cameron Mesa at 145 (decision) and Teran Reedy at 195 (pin).
