Roseburg awards Sutherlin business contract to run Stewart Park Golf Course

The Stewart Park Golf Course will be under new management April 1. The Roseburg City Council voted unanimously Monday to sign a contract with L & H Lumber, owners of Umpqua Golf Resort in Sutherlin. L & H Lumber will pay the city $25,000 per year. The company will maintain the course, run the pro shop, provide breakfasts and lunches and keep any profits.
