After years of delay, the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs has selected a site for a new Eugene medical clinic scheduled to open in 2015 that could relieve the burden on the Roseburg Veterans Affairs Medical Center. Construction of the 100,000-square-foot clinic will begin next year on the northwest corner of Chad Drive and Coburg Road, across from the offices of The Register-Guard newspaper, a VA press release said.
