RIDDLE — The image of a used red car is forever seared into Steven Wilsey’s memory. The car, for a short time, belonged to his mother and came to symbolize her hopes and struggles as a single mom raising two children in Riddle. Wilsey, a Columbia University graduate student, returned to his hometown recently to direct a 15-minute movie titled “The Red Car,” a fictionalized account of an incident from his childhood.
