Roseburg School District to teach parents how to prep kids for kindergarten

Getting kids prepared for kindergarten will be the focus of free parenting classes offered by the Roseburg School District. The READY! for Kindergarten classes, which are funded by a federal grant, will begin Tuesday and are for the parents of 4- or 5-year-old children who will start kindergarten in September. The classes are free to families whose children will attend a district elementary school that receives federal Title I funding, which is intended to help low-income students keep up with their peers.
