ROSEBURG Friendly Kitchen offers shuttle The organizers of the Friendly Kitchen hope to shuttle some of their meals-on-wheels clients in for community dinners. Director Helen Lesh said the kitchen has a van ready to transport seniors tired of dining alone. The kitchen at 1033 N.E. Post Street in Roseburg can accommodate 20 people for dinner. The organization serves 2,200 meals each month, bringing a noon-time feast of soup, salad, entree, bread and dessert to its home-bound customers.
