Club News: Douglas County Master Gardener volunteers prepare for spring and summer questions

Plant Clinic hours blossom

The Douglas County Master Gardeners, sponsored by OSU Extension Service, will extend its Plant Clinic hours for the spring and summer. Volunteer Master Gardeners will be available 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. weekdays April through September at the OSU Extension office, 1134 S.E. Douglas Ave., Roseburg.

The Plant Clinic provides free answers to questions about horticultural problems, diagnoses plant diseases and suggests ways to deal with them. Bring a sample of a leaf, branch, insect, fruit, etc., to the Plant Clinic. Those who cannot come in during clinic hours may call and leave a message, or go to http://extension.oregonstate.edu/askanexpert. A volunteer will respond as soon as possible, according to clinic representatives.

Information: 541-672-4461.
