Send holiday cards to troops The Umpqua Valley Republican Women will gather at 11:30 a.m. and have a no-host luncheon meeting at noon Wednesday at Kowloon Restaurant, 2686 N.E. Diamond Lake Blvd., Roseburg. The community is invited to participate. The cost is $9 with lunch or $2 without lunch. This meeting’s focus is on a “Christmas Cards For Soldiers” writing campaign. Bring your cards and write notes of thanks to men and women who serve in the U.S. military.
