Retire an old flag honorably American Legion Post 123 will have a flag retirement ceremony beginning at 2 p.m. today at the Veterans Memorial Building, 252 S. Old Pacific Highway, Tri City. The community is invited to bring worn, faded or tattered flags for proper retirement. These old flags, when no longer in a condition fit for display, should be destroyed according to prescribed protocols. The American Legion provides this service. …
