Funds used for secure housing On behalf of the board members of Umpqua Valley Habitat for Humanity, I would like to express sincere thanks for two grants we received. The C. Giles Hunt Charitable Trust generously awarded $10,000. The Pacific Power Foundation gave a generous award of $3,500. These funds will be used to support our newest project, the construction of a duplex. Completion of this duplex will provide two hard-working, low-income Douglas County families with affordable, safe and secure housing. Our local chapter is a volunteer organization.
