Jason Davis Army Spec. Jason E. Davis, son of Leslie Davis of Canyonville and Laura Hall of Tacoma, Wash., has returned to the U.S. after being deployed overseas at a forward operating base supporting Operation Enduring Freedom. Davis maintains unmanned aircraft systems and is assigned to the 4th Airborne Brigade Combat Team, 25th Infantry Division at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, Alaska. He served in the military for one year. While deployed, he earned an Army Commendation Medal. Davis is a 2008 graduate of South Umpqua High School, Myrtle Creek. …
