Warbirds talk SR-71 Blackbird

The Southern Oregon Warbirds will meet at noon Wednesday at the New Life Christian Church, 1723 S.E. Vine St., Roseburg.

Following the $8 luncheon, speaker Darrell Strickland will discuss the construction, maintenance and performance statistics of the Strategic Reconnaissance SR-71 Blackbird. Strickland worked on these aircraft while serving in the U.S. Air Force.

Warbird membership is open to those who served on active duty or in reserve components in military aviation-related job classifications.
