Potluck, job fair for AWVA

The American Women Veterans’ Association of Douglas County will have a potluck dinner and meeting 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at the American Legion Post, 406 S.E. Oak St., Roseburg.

The program will focus on Women’s History Month and the role of women in military service. Women veterans of all eras and branches of the military are invited. Attendees are asked to bring a favorite dish to share and a photo of themselves in uniform. They will be asked to give a one-minute oral history or their military experience.

The AWVA will also participate in the Job Fair from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Douglas County Fairgrounds, Roseburg. Stop by and learn about AWVA. Network with other women veterans and stay informed on the latest topics of interest or concern.
