Club News: Douglas County Master Gardener ranks grow with recent graduates

How does your garden grow?

Twenty-five new Douglas County Master Gardeners recently graduated from the OSU Extension Master Gardener Sustainable Gardening winter session.

The intensive nine-week course included subject material from botany, soils, integrated pest management, vegetable and landscape gardening and orchard management. There was also hands-on training in pruning, propagation and seed starting.

The graduates were awarded official Master Gardener pins and have joined the ranks of more than 250 active Master Gardeners whose knowledge and expertise serve Douglas County.

Information: 541-672-4461.
