Kudos: Roseburg students at Cobb Learning Center get big view of microcosm

Microscope will lay bare the water bears

Cobb Children’s Learning Center would like to thank the Delta Kappa Gamma, Omicron Chapter, for a recent mini-grant. This grant will allow us to purchase a microscope for our middle school science project: Water Bear Hunt. The microscope will allow us to observe and follow live Tardigrades, affectionately known as Water Bears, as we search for them in our local Oregon moss.

Cobb School recently hired a Middle School specialist and this microscope will enhance our instructional practices. Thank you Delta Kappa Gammas for helping us provide hands on experienced-based learning for our students.
