Join Sutherlin’s holiday spirit
There will be a Christmas Festival from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday in the Community Building, 105 S. Willamette St., Sutherlin. The Timber Town Toyland Light Parade is set for 7 p.m.
The festival is open to all ages. Bring canned food donations for the Sutherlin Oakland Food Pantry to get one extra vote in the Branches of Love tree-decorating contest hosted by Umpqua Bank. There will be holiday decorations provided by Tim’s Tree House and pictures with Santa offered by Sutherlin’s First Community Credit Union.
Entertainment will be provided by the Sutherlin High School Choir, Chuck the Magician and Mark Baratta. There will be Christmas games with prizes, face painting, crafts, and Grandma’s Christmas Storybook Corner. Free hot dogs, popcorn and drinks while they last will be provided by American Legion Post 121.
