Kudos: Myrtle Creek benefits from generosity of contributors

Food box aid appreciated

On behalf of the staff of St. Vincent de Paul Myrtle Creek Food Pantry and Store, I would like to take this opportunity to thank all businesses, churches, groups, individuals and the Cow Creek Umpqua Tribe, who so generously gave to the pantry and store in 2013.

Without their generous donations of nonperishable foods, monies and other items, many in our area would not have received an emergency food box.

Proceeds from items donated and sold in the store are also given to the pantry to buy additional food for these boxes. Up to 246 food boxes were given out each month this past year, thanks to the generosity of our donors.

We thank all of you.
