WINSTON — A Canadian company will close its wood products distribution center in Winston at the end of the month, throwing eight employees out of work. McKillican International told employees last week it will move its Winston operations to its Portland distribution center. Based in Edmonton, Alberta, the company distributes wood products to contractors and retailers from 22 centers in Canada and the western United States.
