My husband is not a condiment or sauce eater. He is blessed because all of my added calories come from those delicious things.
Yearning for my college days, I decided to make a favorite of mine, Café Yumm! bowls, in my home. The chain’s unique and healthy sauces made Café Yumm! restaurants start popping up throughout the state (come on, Roseburg). The sauce can be found at Sherm’s Thunderbird Market and other select stores.
The bowls quickly became a staple in our home. It’s a sauce that my husband can’t get enough of (and neither can I).
The Yumm! bowl is a weekly dish at our house. To save a pretty penny, I played around with some recipes for Yumm! sauce and found one that is, well, yummy.
I also love making a baby-friendly version of the Yumm! Bowl using rice cereal and topping with alike toppings, pureed or sliced small for little mouths.
