A 54-year-old Days Creek man was stabbed during an altercation with another Days Creek man Monday night, according to the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office. Gary Scott Gibbons was drinking on his front porch with 70-year-old William Steven Stanley and two other adults in the 19000 block of Tiller Trail Highway when the two got into a fight around 9:50 p.m., deputies said. Stanley is suspected of pulling a knife and stabbing Gibbons several times in the chest, authorities said.
