A Canyonville man’s sudden left turn Monday as he was getting on Interstate 5 at Milepost 119 apparently led to a two-vehicle crash, according to Oregon State Police. Gregory Alan Falk, 58, told a trooper he was on the northbound on-ramp when his cellphone rang shortly after 10:15 a.m.. He said he attempted to pull over to answer it. Troopers said he drove his Ford pickup to the left of the ramp but did not clear the lane of traffic.
