Enforce our 2nd Amendment Charles Krauthammer was totally in error when he wrote in his Dec. 23 column that “gun control impinges upon the Second Amendment.” Not at all. In fact we should enforce the Second Amendment’s operating phrase: “... a well-regulated militia.” Our problem now is that we do not have a well-regulated militia. Give each American who wishes one a gun, a stringent background check, training, pride in their country and a readiness to defend it.
