Fire destroyed a woman’s home near Glide on Christmas Eve, but her family, dog and the Christmas presents were safe at her parents’ home down the street. Glide Fire Chief Dan Tilson said the single-story 1930s home at 293 Anderson Lane off North Bank Road near Glide, occupied by Karen Anderson, was a total loss.
