Warming center to train help

ROSEBURG Warming center to train help Volunteers who want to help out with warming centers opened for homeless people on the coldest nights of the year can receive training in October. Training will be hosted by the Douglas County Housing and Homeless Coalition at the Unity Church of Roseburg, 507 N.E. Winchester St. Training sessions will be at 6 p.m. Oct. 11 and 23 and at 7 p.m. Oct. 13 and 27. Volunteers should register by email at iansmith.dchhc@gmail.com and plan to attend one session.
