Music in the Park, Douglas County’s longest-running free summer music series, will stage its final concert tonight for 2012. The seven-concert series, which focuses primarily on Southern Oregon bands, is in its 26th season. A North Bend group called Evolution will perform. The group is part of the Oregon Coast Lab Band, which encourages youth to perform. The group has learned from roughly 50 different music teachers. The concert will start at 6 p.m. at Millsite Park.
