ROSEBURG Learn to can tuna, meats Canning tuna and other meats will be the focus of a Sept. 22 Oregon State University Extension Master Food Preservers workshop. Participants will receive instruction on safe pressure-canning techniques for those foods. The workshop is scheduled for 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Pine Grove Community Church, 1729 Buckhorn Road. The fee is $20 per person. Those attending should bring a sack lunch.The registration deadline is Sept. 17.
