ROSEBURG A training program for board members of nonprofit organizations will be held Sept. 29 at Umpqua Community College. The nonprofit organization Financial Stewardship Resources will present the training at UCC’s Lang Event Center from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Fifteen workshops will be presented by leading nonprofit attorneys, accountants and industry consultants. Special guest instructors Joe Kroll, from the Internal Revenue Service and Kirk Harvey, from the Oregon Department of Justice, will also address issues nonprofit organizations face.
