Phoenix Charter School’s business class will host a holiday block party downtown from 4 to 7:30 p.m. Dec. 13. The event will include a gingerbread house competition between second- through fifth-graders representing elementary schools. Downtown businesses displaying the houses will be marked by red balloons. Voting will be by jelly bean count. The houses will be raffled off.
