Seniors will gather Friday to discuss what they want in a new senior center and how they should finance the project at a meeting with city planners and private consultants. The senior center’s building committee chairwoman, Treva Anderson, said she encourages all seniors who use the current facility at 621 W. Madrone St. to attend the meeting and share their ideas. The meeting will be from 1:30 to 4 p.m. at the Douglas County Library, Ford Community Room, 1409 Diamond Lake Blvd. A second meeting will be held from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. Dec. 14 at the library.
